The
founders
of
the
world’s
two
biggest
crypto
exchanges,
Changpeng
Zhao
and
Brian
Armstrong,
are
the
richest
individuals
in
the
crypto
industry.

according

Forbes,
which
unveiled
on
April
2
its
annual

ranking

of
the
richest
crypto
billionaires.

Changpeng
Zhao,
known
as

tops
the
list,
even
as
he
awaits

in
the

on

charges
after

to

estimates
his
fortune
at

billion.

Armstrong,
the

of
the

US
cryptocurrency
exchange,

Coinbase
,
is
in
2nd
place
with
a
net
worth
of
$11.2
billion
after
the
exchange’s
stock
price
soared
200%
in
the
past
year.
Armstrong
holds
an
18%
stake
in
Coinbase.
